Cairo: Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah el Din Mostafa and Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Sherif el Sherbini convened at the Ministry of Military Production's headquarters to assess the progress of projects under the "Decent Life" initiative. This presidential initiative aims to enhance living conditions across various governorates in Egypt.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting, which was attended by senior officials from both ministries, underscores a shared commitment to monitor the advancement of joint projects. Mostafa revealed that 691 projects are currently underway within the "Decent Life" framework. The discussion focused on the progress of water and wastewater facilities, which are being constructed by companies linked to the Ministry of Military Production for the Housing Ministry.
Mostafa emphasized the ongoing coordination between the two ministries to expedite the completion of these projects, many of which are close to being handed over for operation. He noted the significant national importance of the "Decent Life" initiative, highlighting the close attention it receives from political leaders and oversight by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli. The initiative is deemed a model for development, aiming to promote social justice and enhance citizens' quality of life.
Sherbini highlighted that regular monitoring of these projects helps resolve implementation challenges, ensuring rapid delivery of services to millions of citizens. He commended the Ministry of Military Production for its critical role as a national industrial force in both military and civilian sectors. Sherbini stressed that the collaboration reflects the government's dedication to utilizing local resources for essential development projects that directly impact citizens.
