Cairo:Minister of State for Military Production Salah Suleiman Gamblat reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to following President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to enhance military production capabilities. This includes maximizing manufacturing capabilities, increasing output, improving product quality, and investing in human capital.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the minister highlighted these commitments during an inspection tour of the Helwan Machinery and Equipment Company, also known as Factory 999. During his visit, Gamblat reviewed production operations, assessed shift work, and evaluated performance rates.

The inspection included a detailed review of the metal machining workshop, where the minister examined production stages and the manufacturing capabilities available. He also inspected the technical condition of machinery and equipment, such as a flame-cutting machine that cuts steel sheets up to 40 mm thick and a steel-sheet bending machine.

The company, a significant industrial facility under the Ministry of Military Production, produces various products for the Armed Forces, including single-barrel rocket launchers and 110-mm mortars. During his tour, Minister Gamblat checked the availability of production supplies and emphasized the importance of securing a continuous supply of raw materials to maintain production rates and achieve targets.

He further stressed the need to maximize available resources, improve operational efficiency, and optimize returns from the production lines.
