Cairo: Minister of State for Information Diaa Rashwan affirmed that the government, with all its ministers, is exerting great efforts to cushion the repercussions of the ongoing developments in the region. In a press conference, the minister stressed that the government’s sole concern is to find solutions to mitigate the current repercussions.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Rashwan clarified that Egyptians are not the only ones affected by the repercussions of the ongoing war, but also Egyptian expatriates working in Gulf countries. This, he said, has a direct impact on the Egyptian economy.

He stressed that the government is exerting all possible efforts to ease these effects on citizens.
