Cairo: Minister of State for Military Production Salah Soliman Gomblat held a meeting with heads of affiliated companies specialized in ammunition production to review work progress and plans to enhance manufacturing capabilities. The meeting addressed the implementation of ammunition supply contracts, production developments, output rates, and measures aimed at improving operational efficiency and increasing production capacity to meet the needs of the Armed Forces within specified timelines and standards.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Gomblat emphasized that developing the ammunition production system, maximizing available manufacturing and technological capabilities, and utilizing specialized human resources while maintaining quality standards are key priorities during the current phase. He added that the ministry is continuing efforts to deepen local manufacturing, increase reliance on domestic components, and introduce modern technologies to reduce dependence on imports and strengthen national industrial capabilities.
