Cairo: Assistant Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade for Media Promotion and Information Mohamed Ayyad emphasized the importance of skill development and market preparation for young people to enhance their competitiveness in the business and investment sectors. This was highlighted during the ministry's involvement in the second cohort of Cairo University's 'Future Leaders' camp, themed 'Labor Market Skills and Artificial Intelligence.'

According to State Information Service Egypt, Ayyad, representing Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid, delivered a lecture to approximately 200 students. The lecture, titled 'How Can Your Idea Become a Successful Project That Attracts Investment?' underscored the significance of technical, analytical, digital, and interpersonal skills. These include data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and the effective use of artificial intelligence tools.

During the event, Ayyad presented students with various career opportunities in sectors such as investment, foreign trade, finance, insurance, and non-banking financial services. He provided insights into positions available within the ministry, its affiliated entities, the Egyptian Exchange, and the Financial Regulatory Authority.

Ayyad explained the process of transforming promising ideas into projects ready for investment by focusing on market analysis, scalable business models, appropriate financing, effective project management, and adaptability to changing business conditions. Furthermore, he highlighted the significance of exports and accessing international markets, urging students to engage in continuous learning, gain practical experience, and develop skills to keep up with technological and economic advancements.

The event concluded with an open dialogue session, allowing students to discuss topics such as investment, entrepreneurship, financing, exports, and career opportunities with Ayyad.
