Doha: The Ministry of Health and Population, represented by the Central Administration for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment, participated in the 6th Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in Qatar. The event brought together officials, experts, and decision-makers from multiple countries to discuss global strategies aimed at enhancing mental health services.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, emphasized that Egypt's involvement underscores the State's commitment to advancing mental health and addiction treatment systems. Egypt is looking to exchange expertise with international institutions to improve the quality of services provided to its citizens.

Head of the Central Administration for Mental Health, Ayman Abbas, highlighted Egypt's significant role in supporting global mental health initiatives. Abbas affirmed the Health Ministry's dedication to comprehensive healthcare, focusing on human rights and quality of life enhancements.
