Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty called Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, on Monday to inquire about his health after surgery.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the foreign minister wished the Pope complete recovery and good health, remarking on the significant role of the Pope as a national and religious figure.

Pope Tawadros II, in turn, thanked Abdelatty for the kind gesture, reflecting the depth of mutual appreciation and respect.
