Brussels: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Badr Abdelatty departed for Brussels on Sunday, June 14, 2026, for a series of meetings with senior officials of European Union institutions aimed at strengthening Egypt-EU cooperation and advancing strategic dialogue.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty will travel to Luxembourg on Monday to co-chair the 11th session of the EU-Egypt Association Council. This council session represents a significant opportunity for both parties to reinforce their strategic partnership and address pressing mutual interests.
On the sidelines of the council meeting, Abdelatty is scheduled to engage in numerous bilateral meetings with European foreign ministers and senior officials. These discussions are expected to focus on enhancing bilateral partnerships and exchanging views on major regional and international developments of mutual concern.
