Ismailia: Egypt’s weightlifting team continues its success at the World Youth Championships in Ismailia, after Cairo Electricity Club player Mostafa Mahmoud Bakry won a new bronze medal in the 88kg category.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this result brings the Egyptian team’s total to 8 medals, including 3 golds won by champion Abdel Rahman Hussein, showcasing his dominance in his weight class. The championship also highlighted the achievements of promising star Ali Abdel Radi, who not only secured a bronze medal but also broke three world records for the under-17 category.

Weightlifter El Sayed Ali Atteya added to the medal tally with two bronze medals, while champion Basma Ramadan claimed another bronze. Egypt continues its strong showing in the globally recognized event, which is being hosted locally with wide international participation.
