Egypt Unveils ‘Hanteghayyar’ Campaign to Tackle Malnutrition

Cairo: Egypt is set to launch the 'Hanteghayyar' malnutrition awareness campaign in collaboration with UNICEF, aiming to address critical issues related to maternal and child health. Deputy Minister of Health and Population Abla Al-Alfi emphasized the state's commitment to these health areas, recognizing them as the cornerstone of a healthy society.

According to State Information Service Egypt, during a meeting at the Ministry's headquarters in the New Capital, Alfi highlighted the importance of proper nutrition in preventing conditions such as stunting, anemia, and obesity. The meeting, which included representatives from UNICEF Egypt and 4PR Group, aimed to implement the national awareness campaign titled 'Hanteghayyar' (We Will Change). This initiative seeks to promote healthy eating habits and emphasize the long-term impact of nutrition on both physical and mental development.

The campaign's creative concept, advertising strategies, and digital engagement plans were presented in detail during the meeting. Participants discussed various aspects of the campaign, including media messaging, audience targeting, digital content strategies, and distribution channels. They also agreed on key observations, defined responsibilities, and established a timeline to ensure effective implementation of the campaign's objectives.

The 'Hanteghayyar' campaign aims to highlight how malnutrition negatively impacts individual health, national productivity, and economic growth, with a special focus on children, who are particularly vulnerable to these challenges.
