New York:Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty conducted a series of meetings with foreign ministers and representatives from various countries during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Egypt's active participation in numerous multilateral meetings allowed Abdelatty to engage in bilateral discussions with several of his counterparts. The discussions primarily centered on strengthening Egypt's bilateral relations in areas such as trade and economic cooperation, emphasizing the country's competitive advantages and investment opportunities.

Additionally, the meetings addressed various regional and international issues of mutual interest. Abdelatty highlighted Egypt's positions and the guiding principles of its foreign policy, stressing the importance of de-escalating regional tensions and prioritizing negotiations and diplomatic efforts to ensure regional and international security and stability.
