Egyptian Cabinet Approves Leadership Development Program for State Administration

Cairo:Egypt's Cabinet has approved a draft decision to establish a leadership development program aimed at preparing qualified candidates for senior positions within the state administrative system. This decision was made during the Cabinet's weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.According to State Information Service Egypt, the program will be managed by the National Training Academy and is intended to enhance the leadership and administrative skills necessary for government roles starting at the director-general level. Government bodies will have the opportunity to nominate employees for the program based on their performance, professional competence, and leadership abilities.Eligible candidates must hold at least a second-level specialist position or an equivalent grade with a minimum of four years of seniority. Additionally, they must have received an 'excellent' performance rating for the two years preceding their nomination. Employees who meet these criteria but are not nominated by their respective government bodies will have the option to apply directly to the program.The program will also be open to applicants from outside the state administrative system. These candidates must be at least 35 years old and possess no less than 12 years of professional experience. The draft decision outlines the application and admission procedures for the program.
