Tunis: Egyptian Ambassador in Tunis Bassem Hassan and Speaker of the Tunisian Assembly of People's Representatives (ARP) Ibrahim Bouderbala have emphasized the significance of strengthening parliamentary and legislative cooperation at various levels.

According to State Information Service Egypt, during a meeting on Friday, September 5, 2025, the Egyptian diplomat and Tunisian lawmaker praised the friendly and fraternal ties between their countries, both at the official and grassroots levels. They acknowledged shared positions and joint efforts in addressing regional and international matters, with a particular focus on the Palestinian cause and the pursuit of establishing an independent Palestinian state in line with relevant international resolutions.
