Sarajevo: Egypt's Ambassador to Sarajevo, Walid Hagag, recently met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jasmina Selimovic, to explore opportunities for enhancing bilateral cooperation. Selimovic expressed her appreciation for Egypt and highlighted the enduring friendship between the two countries.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting focused on strengthening economic ties and encouraging mutual investments. Discussions included potential collaborations between the Central Bank of Egypt and its Bosnian counterpart, aiming to open more channels of coordination and streamline work mechanisms to advance relations.

The two officials also explored the possibility of providing training and capacity-building opportunities for Bosnian professionals in the monetary, banking, and economic sectors. This initiative would build on Egypt's ongoing support for Bosnian cadres from various ministries and governmental bodies.
