Madrid: EgyptAir took part in the FITUR international tourism fair in Madrid this week, showcasing its services at one of the world's largest travel and tourism events. Tourism and Antiquities Minister Sherif Fathy visited the airline's stand, praising EgyptAir's role in supporting inbound tourism and improvements in service quality.
According to State Information Service Egypt, EgyptAir Holding Chairman Ahmed Adel stated that the fair provided an opportunity to promote the airline's expanding fleet, domestic and international network, and sales and marketing strategy to attract more visitors to Egypt. EgyptAir Airlines Chairman Mohamed Alyan noted that FITUR helps connect airlines with tour operators and expand presence in key tourism markets.
EgyptAir officials engaged in meetings with global travel agents and tour operators to discuss cooperation and new promotional programs. The airline currently operates 16 weekly flights to Spain, including seven between Madrid and Cairo, six between Barcelona and Cairo, and three flights from Madrid and Barcelona to Luxor.
