New York:Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly confirmed Egypt's readiness to assist Chevron in expanding its exploration and production activities. This announcement came during a meeting with representatives from the US energy company, which took place as Madbouly participated in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly emphasized the Egyptian government's commitment to facilitating project implementation within the country's investment regulations. The meeting, which included Egypt's Ambassador to the US, Mohamed Hamdy El Molla, highlighted the strong relationship between Egypt's petroleum sector and Chevron.

The Prime Minister expressed enthusiasm about Chevron leveraging government incentives to expand its activities in Egypt. He pointed out the potential for collaboration given Chevron's expertise and significant presence in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Chevron representatives acknowledged the importance of their investments in Egypt and conveyed their intention to enhance their exploration and production operations within the country and the broader Eastern Mediterranean region.
