Cairo: The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decided on Thursday, September 24, 2026, to keep key interest rates unchanged.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the overnight deposit rate remains at 19 percent, the overnight lending rate at 20 percent, and the main operation rate at 19.5 percent. The discount rate was also maintained at 19.50 percent.
