Egypt Strongly Condemns Attacks on Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar

Cairo: Egypt strongly condemned the ballistic missile attack on Riyadh, reaffirming its full support for the Saudi Arabian government, leadership, and people against these unjustified assaults, which threaten the kingdom's security and stability, directly linked to Egypt's and the Arab world's security.

According to State Information Service Egypt, in a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, Egypt also condemned Iran's ongoing targeting of the United Arab Emirates and reiterated its full solidarity with Abu Dhabi.

It condemned any threats or attacks on oil and gas facilities in the Arab Gulf region, including the Ras Laffan LNG facilities in Qatar, expressing full support for Qatar against such assaults.

Cairo denounced attacks on civilian infrastructure and energy sites, including the South Pars gas field in Iran, calling them blatant violations of international law and the UN Charter.

It expressed deep concern over these attacks for their severe impact on global energy security, international economy, regional stability, and civilian safety, including environmental risks.

Egypt urged restraint, dialogue, and intensified efforts to contain the current military escalation and end the war to maintain regional and international security and stability.
