Cairo: The Egyptian National Railways (ENR) has refuted claims of a fire occurring near the Cairo-Alexandria railway line in Itay El-Baroud, assuring the public that train services continue to operate without disruption.According to State Information Service Egypt, the ENR released a statement clarifying that there were no fires or obstacles along the railway track that could affect train movements or operational safety. The statement emphasized that the reported fire was situated far from the railway, separated by a canal, a road, and another waterway.Furthermore, the Authority urged media outlets and the public to confirm news through official channels before dissemination. It warned that legal action would be pursued against those spreading false reports that may incite public concern or disrupt rail services.
