Egypt, Qatar, Turkey Condemn Israeli Actions in Gaza Strip

Cairo: The Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar, and the Republic of Turkey have expressed strong condemnation regarding the ongoing Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip. These actions include targeting healthcare facilities and medical infrastructure, resulting in civilian casualties that include women and children. The mediating countries emphasize that such actions are violations of international and humanitarian law.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the mediators have urged Israel to adhere to its international law obligations and uphold its commitments under the ceasefire agreement. The ongoing violations are seen as breaches of the agreement, particularly after Hamas and Palestinian factions accepted the roadmap, which includes the confinement of weapons. The mediators caution that continued violations could hinder de-escalation efforts and worsen civilian suffering in Gaza.

The mediating countries have reiterated their call for the protection of civilians, medical facilities, and humanitarian workers. They emphasize the importance of unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid and medical supplies throughout the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, the mediators urge the international community to pressure Israel into fulfilling its international law and ceasefire agreement obligations. They highlight the necessity of completing President Trump's peace plan, describing the roadmap consensus as a 'historic agreement.' The mediators stress the importance of preventing any actions that could undermine efforts towards sustainable de-escalation and achieving a permanent ceasefire to end the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
