Cairo: Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed with representatives of the global company 'DIAGAST,' which specializes in blood group reagent manufacturing, and 'Think Pro for Medical Services,' ways of cooperation and the transfer of advanced technology to Egypt.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Minister affirmed during the meeting the political leadership's commitment to localizing vital medical industries, particularly in blood transfusion services, with the aim of achieving self-sufficiency and strengthening national health security.

The two sides discussed mechanisms for establishing a strategic partnership to set up local production lines using the latest global technologies owned by DIAGAST, in cooperation with Think Pro, to provide highly accurate, sustainably high-quality blood grouping reagents.

The Minister instructed the rapid development of a comprehensive implementation plan for technology transfer and training Egyptian medical and technical personnel on the latest blood typing testing systems.
