Egypt Monitors Safety of Nationals in Venezuela Following U.S. Attack

Cairo: Egypt's foreign ministry announced that it is closely monitoring the situation of Egyptian nationals in Venezuela following the recent U.S. attack. The ministry emphasized that the community remains safe and has not been exposed to any risks.According to State Information Service Egypt, the United States conducted a military operation across Venezuela, carrying out strikes and capturing the country's president and his wife. In response, Haddad Al-Gohary, Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad, stated that the foreign ministry is maintaining constant contact with Egypt's embassy in Caracas to oversee the wellbeing of Egyptians in Venezuela.Al-Gohary confirmed that the Egyptian community is safe and has not faced any danger. The embassy in Caracas has been instructed to keep direct communication with Egyptian citizens, advising them to exercise caution, comply with local laws and regulations, and contact the embassy immediately via its emergency hotline should they encou nter any difficulties.The foreign ministry will continue coordinating with the embassy to review any measures required to ensure the safety of Egyptians in Venezuela.
