Egypt, Greece, and Arab States Engage in Talks on Middle Eastern Developments

Athens: Ambassador of Egypt to Greece Omar Amer, along with Arab ambassadors, convened with Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetoritis to discuss ongoing international and regional developments, with a specific focus on the Middle East and Arab-Greek relations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussions centered on the situation in Gaza, highlighting the significance of achieving security and stability in the Middle East. Ambassador Amer underscored the importance Egypt places on these goals and their link to the security of Europe.

Further points of discussion included maintaining stability in the Horn of Africa, preserving the unity and sovereignty of Somalia, and ensuring the security of the Red Sea to support freedom of navigation.
