Geneva: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty met with Secretary-General of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Gilbert Houngbo, expressing interest in joint cooperation to support the creation of decent job opportunities and enhance the work environment in Egypt.According to State Information Service Egypt, the minister highlighted the plan to establish 50 workers' syndicates in 2024, endorse the Maritime Labor Convention in the same year, and draft a bill on housekeepers that will be submitted to the parliament soon. He requested technical support to ensure adherence to the convention's articles.
