Cairo: Egypt strongly condemned on Thursday, September 10, 2026, the repeated Israeli incursions into Syrian territory, describing them as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic and a clear breach of international law.

According to State Information Service Egypt, in a statement issued by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates, Egypt categorically rejected all Israeli violations and incursions into Syrian territory, warning that the continuation of such escalatory practices would further fuel tensions and undermine security and stability in the region.

Egypt renewed its full solidarity with Syria and reaffirmed its support for its sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, stressing the need for Israel to withdraw from the occupied Syrian territories and comply with the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement.
