Cairo: Egypt's Unified Women's Football Team continued its performance at the Special Olympics Unified Football World Cup - Paris 2026, securing a 3-0 victory over Canada in Saturday's semifinal to book its place in the tournament's final.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Egyptian team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the match, dominating possession and capitalizing on its scoring opportunities to earn a deserved place in the final. Its technical quality and tactical discipline drew praise from spectators and followers of the tournament.

Head of the Egyptian delegation Amr Mohieddin el Tahawy said the victory over Canada and qualification for the final reflected the effort made by the players and the technical and administrative staff throughout the competition. Egypt is scheduled to face Namibia in the final after the latter advanced with a 5-1 victory over France, setting up a highly anticipated match between the tournament's top two teams.
