Cairo: The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has announced plans to open 10 Egyptian-Italian Agro Applied Technology Schools in the 2026/2027 academic year, aimed at expanding vocational education to address the increasing need for skilled workers in the agricultural sector.

According to State Information Service Egypt, these schools are being established in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation and Italy's ITS Agro Academy. The initiative intends to train specialized agricultural technicians by employing internationally recognized educational and technological standards.
