Cairo: Egypt's Minister of Public Business Sector, Mohamed Shimi, engaged in discussions with a delegation from Spain's TECAM, a company renowned for its expertise in emissions reduction and waste management. The talks centered around fostering cooperation in sustainable environmental projects to bolster the green transition and enhance industrial efficiency within the ministry's affiliated companies.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting took place at the ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. It explored a range of potential environmental projects and partnerships. TECAM's international experience in handling polluting gases and hazardous waste was a focal point, highlighting the company's advanced solutions for reducing emissions and improving environmental returns.

Both parties considered the prospects for collaboration on environmental projects in public sector companies. These discussions align with the ministry's strategy to enhance energy efficiency, optimize resource use, and upgrade equipment in line with global technological standards.

Minister Shimi underscored the significance of environmental projects in supporting Egypt's transition to a green economy, improving product competitiveness, and ensuring adherence to international environmental norms.
