Cruise Ship Aroya Brings Over 1,300 Tourists to Sokhna Port

Sokhna:The cruise ship Aroya arrived at Sokhna Port, part of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, carrying 1,327 tourists from various nationalities. The ship, owned by Saudi Cruise, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, arrived after departing from Sharm El-Sheikh Port.According to State Information Service Egypt, the Aroya berthed at the DP World terminal. The tourists are scheduled to enjoy a sightseeing tour of Cairo before returning to the ship later the same day.The Aroya, flying the Maltese flag, is 303 meters long, 39.2 meters wide, and has a draft of 8.2 meters. Rhapsody is responsible for handling its shipping agency services. The ship is expected to depart Sokhna Port for Alexandria Port on Sunday evening.The arrival of the Aroya highlights Sokhna Port's operational capabilities, demonstrating its readiness to accommodate various vessels with high efficiency and safety standards. The Suez Canal Economic Zone is focused on enhancing its ports' efficiency, supporting maritime navigati on, trade, and tourism, and positioning the ports prominently on the regional and international maritime transport map.
