Cairo: Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Ahmed Khalifa returned home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates to attend the Dubai Airshow 2025. He led a high-level military delegation that included the commanders of the Air Defense Forces and the Air Force, along with a number of senior officers.

According to State Information Service Egypt, during his tour of the exhibition, which features the latest global aviation and space technologies, Khalifa commended the high standard of this year's edition and the broad international confidence it enjoys. On the sidelines of the event, Khalifa met with UAE Chief of Staff Issa Saif Al Mazrouei. The talks addressed issues of mutual interest and ways to bolster military cooperation between the armed forces of both countries.

Khalifa underscored the deep-rooted ties linking Egypt and the UAE and expressed appreciation for the distinguished relations. He said he looks forward to further cooperation in various military domains. For his part, Mazrouei expressed appreciation for Egypt's participation in the exhibition and highlighted the strong ties between the two armed forces. He stressed the UAE's keenness to strengthen future military cooperation with Egypt in all fields.

The participation comes within efforts to keep pace with rapid developments in the defense industries sector, particularly aviation, and to enhance military cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries.
