Cairo: Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, sent a congratulatory message to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who serves as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, celebrating the 74th anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the July 23 Revolution is hailed as a significant milestone in Egypt's modern history, reflecting the collective aspiration of the Egyptian people to establish a robust and independent nation. In his message, Lieutenant General Zaher emphasized the ongoing commitment of the Armed Forces to safeguard the nation and its resources. He reiterated their dedication to supporting Egypt's development endeavors under President El-Sisi's leadership, especially amid ongoing regional challenges.
Lieutenant General Zaher expressed hopes for the president's continued success and for the enduring security and stability of the nation. In a similar gesture, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, also extended his congratulations to President El-Sisi.
Furthermore, both the Defense Minister and the Chief of Staff conveyed their congratulations to commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, military personnel, civilian employees of the Armed Forces, and Egyptian peacekeepers participating in international missions, marking the significance of the anniversary.
