Jakarta: Al-Azhar Al-Sharif has strongly condemned the bombing that occurred inside a mosque located within a school complex in Jakarta, Indonesia, during Friday prayers, which resulted in injuries to dozens of students.According to State Information Service Egypt, Al-Azhar emphasized that attacking innocent worshippers in mosques while they are engaged in their religious practices is a crime against humanity. The institution highlighted that such acts are a clear violation of moral and ethical values aimed at protecting human life and maintaining societal peace. Al-Azhar further remarked that the bombing demonstrates the perpetrators' complete disregard for all religious teachings and their rejection of principles of humanity and morality.Al-Azhar has expressed its full solidarity with the Indonesian government and its citizens, offering prayers to Almighty Allah for the swift recovery of the injured. Additionally, Al-Azhar prayed for the protection of the Indonesian people and all Muslim nations from ha rm and evil.
