Cairo: Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Alaa Farouk, recently received a high-level Jordanian delegation led by Engineer Misbah Tarawneh, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture for Livestock Affairs. The meeting, attended by several officials from the ministry, focused on enhancing cooperation between Egypt and Jordan, particularly in the exchange of animal products.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Minister Farouk highlighted the directives from the political leadership to strengthen collaboration and integration with Arab nations, particularly the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The minister underscored the deep historical ties and distinguished relations between the two countries.

Farouk expressed the mutual desire of both nations' leadership to advance technical cooperation, support joint scientific research, and build capacity in agriculture and veterinary fields. He emphasized that the ministry's research centers are committed to providing technical support to Jordanian counterparts, aiming to train personnel and develop innovative solutions to challenges in the agricultural sector, especially in the face of climate change.
