Cairo: The 261st humanitarian aid convoy, 'Zad Al-Ezza... From Egypt to Gaza,' made its way into the Gaza Strip on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The convoy traversed the Rafah Border Crossing's sub-gate and is on its way to the Karam Abu Salem crossing, where it will deliver much-needed relief supplies to Palestinians within the enclave.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the convoy's trucks are loaded with a substantial amount of humanitarian and food assistance. This includes essential items such as food parcels, flour, fresh bread, legumes, canned foods, medicines, personal care supplies, as well as tents, clothing, and fuel products.
The source further highlighted that the trucks undergo inspections by Israeli authorities before they are permitted entry into the Gaza Strip. This procedure ensures that the aid reaches its intended destination while adhering to security protocols.
