Cairo:The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is offering two free, self-paced training courses in basic German and English through the Egypt Tourism and Antiquities Training Platform (EgTAP). These courses aim to enhance the skills of workers in the tourism and antiquities sectors and align with labor market needs.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the German course is instructed by Islam Alaa El-Din, a lecturer with over 21 years of experience in teaching the German language. The English course has been developed in cooperation with vivo, following a memorandum of understanding signed with the ministry last month.
Tourism and Antiquities Minister Sherif Fathy emphasized that these courses are part of the ministry's strategic efforts to improve workers' skills and service quality in the tourism and antiquities sectors. He highlighted the importance of developing human resources as a key factor in advancing these sectors.
Assistant Minister for Digital Services and General Supervisor of EgTAP, Mohamed Shaaban, stated that registration for both courses is currently open and free for sector workers. He mentioned that the self-paced format allows trainees to access the courses at their convenience.
Minister Fathy encouraged interested individuals to register for the courses through the EgTAP website to take advantage of this opportunity.
