According to State Information Service Egypt, Fathy asserted that enhancing promotional efforts at this stage is crucial to showcasing the Egyptian destination's unique offerings and encouraging travelers to choose Egypt for their next trip. His remarks came during a meeting on Monday, February 16, 2026, with CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Authority Ahmed Youssef, along with senior officials and staff members.
The meeting reviewed the key pillars of the ministry's promotional strategy for fiscal year 2026-2027, as part of ongoing efforts to monitor and implement marketing plans targeting various international markets. The minister explained that promoting the Ministry's vision under the slogan 'Egypt. unmatched diversity' requires comprehensive marketing plans built on innovative and engaging promotional tools.
