Telecom Egypt Enhances WE HealthCloud with New MOUs for Advanced Healthcare Solutions

Cairo: Telecom Egypt (WE) announced on Friday the signing of three memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with its partners in the healthcare sector to develop the portfolio of services on its digital health platform, WE HealthCloud. These new services will include advanced solutions in clinical decision support based on artificial intelligence (AI-CDSS), integrated hospital automation, and telemedicine, as well as improving the patient experience in healthcare services.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this move aims to strengthen the company's leadership in the digital transformation of the healthcare sector in Egypt. This announcement took place during the Global Congress on Health, Population, and Human Development Conference (PHDC 2025), which started on November 12, under the patronage of WE.

The WE HealthCloud platform, operated by Telecom Egypt (WE), works within locally secured data centers and was developed in collaboration with global partners in healthcare technology. It aims to unify the healthcare experience across hospitals, clinics, labs, and diagnostic centers.

The platform offers an integrated system that includes Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), Hospital and Clinic Management Systems (HIMS), Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), pharmacy, radiology, and lab management, telemedicine, a patient portal, and management analytics dashboards, all with an Arabic interface and full compliance with local standards.
