Hanoi:Suez Canal Economic Zone The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCEZONE) is poised to serve as a key platform for advancing the Egyptian-Korean partnership by attracting Korean companies and suppliers, linking production to both domestic and international markets.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Mostafa El-Bahi, the Industry Committee Secretary in the House of Representatives, emphasized that the success of this partnership will be evaluated based on its ability to enhance local component production, transfer technology, integrate Egyptian companies into supply chains, create feeder industries, and boost exports.

El-Bahi highlighted that Egypt is in a position to leverage Korean expertise to establish a technology-driven industrial base. He underscored that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's endorsement of economic and investment partnerships demonstrates Egypt's commitment to developing an advanced industrial framework.

President Sisi also noted the elevation of bilateral relations to a strategic partnership during a press conference in Seoul with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung. He expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and extended congratulations to the Korean people on their National Foundation Day.
