Giza: The chairman of the Sound and Light Company, an affiliate of the Holding Company for Tourism and Hotels, announced the launch of new Sound and Light shows using Virtual Reality (VR) technology at the Giza Pyramids starting on Sunday.According to State Information Service Egypt, Mohamed Abdel Aziz, while speaking to Extra News TV channel, highlighted that this initiative aims to transform traditional shows by integrating cultural elements with entertainment. The introduction of VR technology is designed to allow visitors to explore Ancient Egyptian civilization and history in an interactive and immersive manner through the use of advanced VR headsets.Abdel Aziz emphasized that the main objective of this initiative is to enhance the archaeological site's appeal and boost tourism by offering a modernized, high-quality experience. He noted that this development aligns with directives from the Minister of Public Business Sector, in collaboration with the Holding Company for Tourism and Hotels.
