Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, performed Friday prayers at Al-Mosheer Tantawi Mosque, coinciding with the celebrations marking the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victories. The prayers were attended by Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zahir, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, several ministers and governors, commanders of the main branches of the Armed Forces and the police, as well as officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Armed Forces.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that Sheikh Dr. El-Sayyed Abdel-Bari delivered a sermon entitled "The Month of Victories and the Day of the Martyr." The sermon highlighted the epics and acts of heroism achieved by the Islamic nation during the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing victories attributed to reliance on God, diligence, and perseverance, culminating in the 10th of Ramadan victory. The sermon also focused on the virtue of martyrdom and the status of the martyr, who sacrifices to preserve the homeland and its sanctities. It stressed the importance of following in the footsteps of the righteous martyrs by offering sacrifices to keep the nation's flag flying high.

Following the prayers, President El-Sisi met with the commanders of the Armed Forces, including Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zahir and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa. He congratulated the Armed Forces on the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victories, which coincides with Egypt's and the Armed Forces' commemoration of Martyrs' Day and Veterans' Day. The President paid tribute to the nation's martyrs who have illuminated the path with pride and honor in continuing the service journey throughout Egypt.

The meeting addressed several important regional and international issues and reviewed the tasks undertaken by the Armed Forces to support Egypt's national security across all strategic directions. The President concluded the meeting by expressing appreciation for the efforts of the Armed Forces in protecting the homeland and safeguarding its sanctities.
