Baku:The State Information Service (SIS) is intensifying its efforts to raise awareness about national projects and their developmental benefits across all governorates of the Republic. These efforts aim to enhance citizens' understanding of how such projects support the economy and create job opportunities, with a focus on engaging the youth and women. SIS conducts these activities through various means, including seminars, conferences, panel discussions, and workshops, using visual presentations and documentaries to simplify complex information and highlight the impact on citizens' lives.
According to State Information Service Egypt, these events rely on SIS publications, prominently featuring the book "The New Republic," and aim to reach citizens in villages, hamlets, and remote areas. Ambassador Alaa Youssef, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SIS, noted that the events cover significant national projects in roads, modern transportation, agricultural expansion, food security, and urban and industrial development. Projects such as the National Road Network, Light Rail Transit (LRT), High-Speed Train, New Delta, One and a Half Million Feddans, and developments in the Suez Canal Economic Zone and Sinai are highlighted for their roles in facilitating movement, supporting production, and fostering development and investment.
Ambassador Youssef emphasized that a key focus of SIS activities is linking national projects to the needs of youth. This includes highlighting job opportunities in construction, industry, agriculture, transportation, and services, as well as prospects for establishing small and medium enterprises. The events also discuss the impact of educational development, healthcare, and social housing projects on improving quality of life and economic empowerment, particularly for youth and women in rural areas.
He further added that showcasing the economic and social benefits of national projects enhances citizens' awareness of development priorities. Presenting information in an accessible manner is crucial, as it connects projects to the needs and aspirations of the people, encourages youth to explore available opportunities, and promotes participation in development efforts.
