SIS and Military Academy Sign Protocol to Boost Strategic Cooperation

Hanoi:The State Information Service (SIS) and the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies have signed a cooperation protocol to enhance public awareness and capacity-building through joint efforts. The agreement focuses on exchanging strategic expertise and leveraging scientific and training capabilities.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the protocol was signed by Ambassador Alaa Youssef, Chairman of the Board of the SIS, and Major General Staff Mohamed Mahmoud Awad, Director of the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies. The signing ceremony was attended by key figures, including Dr. Howaida Mostafa, Vice Chairperson of the SIS, and other senior leadership from both institutions.

The agreement outlines a framework for collaboration in educational and training programs, seminars, and consultative meetings. It prioritizes the exchange of knowledge to utilize the academic and professional expertise of both institutions. Additionally, it promotes joint research and studies to bolster national capacity and elevate public awareness on strategic national issues.

Ambassador Alaa Youssef emphasized that this protocol aligns with SIS's objective to expand partnerships with national and academic institutions. He noted President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives on the importance of awareness-building as a fundamental pillar for societal resilience in facing challenges.

The Chairman highlighted the significance of collaborating with the Military Academy, recognized for its authority in strategic studies and national security. He acknowledged the Academy's role in preparing leaders capable of navigating issues affecting Egypt, considering regional and international developments.

Following the signing, Ambassador Youssef addressed researchers and trainees at the National Defense College, discussing strategic communication and national issue awareness. He also congratulated the Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief on the upcoming 53rd anniversary of the October War victory, underscoring its significance as a comprehensive model of planning and resilience by the Egyptian people.
