Washington: Chairman of the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Walid Gamal El-Din, along with his delegation, concluded a US promotional tour, conducting several meetings with leading American companies.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Gamal El-Din attended a roundtable hosted by the Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation, where he highlighted the zone's competitive advantages, investment incentives, and export potential.
The SCZone delegation also engaged with Honeywell, exploring areas such as industrial automation, energy transition, and energy storage. Additionally, they met with Dragon Line to discuss the manufacturing of mobile drip and pivot irrigation systems.
The tour featured meetings and discussions with several entities across sectors like advanced technology, sustainable energy, pharmaceuticals, logistics, advanced manufacturing, and smart agriculture. During these meetings, the SCZone head reaffirmed its role as a strategic platform for international trade, industrial development, and sustainable investment, thereby strengthening Egypt's connections to regional and global markets.
