Cairo: Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Business Sector, affirmed his full readiness to offer the expertise of public business sector companies in fields such as contracting, construction, real estate development, and hotels to the Ministry of Awqaf. This initiative aims at elevating prospects for cooperation between the two ministries to benefit society and citizens.According to State Information Service Egypt, the announcement came during a meeting between Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, and Engineer Mohamed Shimi at the Ministry of Awqaf's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The discussion focused on boosting cooperation in areas of mutual interest between the ministries.Dr. Osama Al-Azhari opened the meeting by welcoming the Minister of Public Business Sector and his delegation. He expressed his happiness with the visit and the sincere spirit aimed at creating a leap forward in cooperation, particularly regarding the investment of Awqaf Authority's assets of historical si gnificance. He noted that this collaboration could lead to a significant shift towards achieving many anticipated successes.Engineer Mohamed Shimi expressed his pleasure at the meeting, underscoring that one of the public business sector's tasks is to achieve the required balance in the Egyptian market across various sectors.The meeting concluded with both sides agreeing to proceed with several procedures to strengthen cooperation.
