Cairo:Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated that the Egyptian Energy Journey session at Egypt Forum 2026 will review the energy sector's progress since 2014. This will include a comprehensive presentation of achievements, supported by figures, indicators, projects, and investments in electricity, renewable energy, and future expansion plans, along with challenges and response methods.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly made these remarks during a meeting held to review the session's axes. The meeting was attended by Electricity Minister Mahmoud Esmat, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk, Petroleum Minister Karim Badawi, and other senior officials. This is part of the preparations for Egypt Forum 2026, which has been ordered by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to take place from October 19 to 24 at the St. Regis Hotel in the New Administrative Capital.
The Prime Minister also noted that the session will review the progress in the petroleum and mineral wealth sector during the same period. This includes developments in exploration, production, major discoveries, and efforts regarding foreign partners' dues. He emphasized the importance of the session addressing citizens' questions and presenting future project plans.
