Prime Minister Madbouly and Algerian Counterpart Discuss Bilateral Relations at UN Conference

Seville: Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, met with Mr. Nadhir Arabawi, the Algerian Prime Minister, during the Fourth United Nations Conference on Financing for Development in Seville, Spain. The meeting took place in the presence of Ambassador Osama Abdel Khalek, Egypt's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and Ambassador Ihab Badawy, Egypt's Ambassador to Spain.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister highlighted the strong Egyptian-Algerian relations and the fraternal ties between the leadership and peoples of the two countries. He asked Mr. Nadhir Arabawi to convey greetings from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, emphasizing the coordinated nature of their bilateral relations.

The discussion focused on supporting and enhancing relations across numerous sectors, with an aim to expand cooperation to benefit both countries. Dr. Madbouly stressed the importance of convening the Egyptian-Algerian Joint Higher Committee soon, to prepare for discussions on mutual interests, particularly those aimed at increasing trade and economic activity.

Algerian Prime Minister Nadhir Arabawi expressed his commitment to strengthening ties and bilateral cooperation further. He conveyed President Tebboune's greetings to President El-Sisi, recognizing his efforts to enhance stability and security in the Middle East.
