Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has issued Decree No. 329 of 2025, appointing Assem Abdel Latif El Saeed Abdel Fattah El-Ghaish as President of the Court of Cassation. The appointment is set to take effect on July 1, 2025.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the decree was officially published in the Official Gazette. The appointment marks a significant development within Egypt's judicial system as El Ghaish takes on the leadership role in the highest court of the land.
