Giza: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi witnessed the operational launch of the Nabaa water station via video conference on Sunday, May 17, 2026. This took place during his inauguration of the Integrated New Delta Agricultural Development Project on the Sheikh Zayed Axis in Giza, held in conjunction with the 2026 wheat harvest season.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Nabaa main lifting station No. 3 pumps nearly 9.75 million cubic meters of water daily to serve 470,000 feddans, supporting agricultural expansion and food security.
