Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Minister of Education and Technical Education Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif and Director of the Egyptian Military Academy Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher on Wednesday, 14th May 2025. The meeting centered on enhancing mechanisms for selecting and training educational professionals.According to State Information Service Egypt, the Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that the President was briefed on ongoing efforts by state institutions to ensure that candidates for teaching roles meet high scientific, technical, and personal standards. These efforts involve utilizing all available state resources.The meeting also included a presentation on various qualification areas within the educational process, focusing particularly on building and strengthening teachers' capacities and skills. President El-Sisi emphasized that advancing the education system, especially the human element, is a state priority. Precise selection and qualifica tion processes should ensure objectivity and competence, positively impacting education quality.The President highlighted the importance of focusing on teachers, who serve as the cornerstone of the educational process.
