Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has sent a cable of greetings to Sri Lanka's President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, on the occasion of the country's Independence Day. The gesture underscores the diplomatic relations and mutual respect between the two nations.According to State Information Service Egypt, President El-Sisi further demonstrated his goodwill by delegating Presidential Secretary Mohamed Atef Abdel Hamid to visit the Sri Lankan embassy in Cairo.
